【JSB1000 Class】MFJ Superbike Rd.2 Suzuka Circuit

Yoshimura SERT Motul rider, Kazuki Watanabe has suffered a concussion and a few bone fractures to his left hand as a result of big crash during free practice session on Thursday.
He still wished to race on the weekend, but team declared him unfit to ride further session after medical check.

We are very disappointed that we had to cancel Suzuka 2&4 race since we felt we had a chance for good results. Kazuki was fast with high motivation, and it was going to be a great opportunity to get data for EWC final round race Suzuka 8 Hour.
We didn’t want to take any risk after the big accident and let him stop riding further session.
Now the most important thing for him is to recover quickly and we hope he can join us again soon.
