Announcement of reserve rider
Yoshimura SERT Motul appoints Cocoro Atsumi as a reserve rider for the Bol d’Or, the final round of 2023 FIM EWC.
Yohei Kato – Team Director
We are pleased to announce that a Japanese rider, Cocoro Atsumi is joining us as a reserve rider for the final round of 2023 FIM EWC Bol d’Or.
He has been racing the Endurance World Championship from SST teams in France in the past years and already has good experiences in 24h races. This year he had opportunities to race All Japan Championship and Suzuka 8H from one of local Suzuki teams, and showed his performance on the GSX-R1000R.
Although his riding time with us would be limited only in the practice and qualifying sessions, I hope this opportunity would be a good experience on his carrier.
Cocoro Atsumi – Rider
I am delighted to announce that I am in part of the Yoshimura SERT Motul in the final EWC race of the season, Bol d’Or 2023.
I am a reserve rider and I would not be racing but still then I am thrilled for the opportunity to be in the team who won the 2021 title and I can’t wait for learning from them who have long histories in racing.
I will do my best to fulfil my role, and standby for ex-champion riders Gregg Black, Sylvain Guintoli and Etienne Masson with the best condition.
