The 2024 season marks the fourth year for Yoshimura SERT Motul, the Franco-Japanese team, to participate FIM Endurance World Championship.
A four-round championship is scheduled in this season, and Yoshimura SERT Motul is highly motivated to reclaim the title with a strong rider lineup and the Yoshimura-tuned Suzuki GSX-R1000R.

Yohei Kato, Team Director

We, Yoshimura SERT Motul, are really looking forward to the start of the 2024 season even last year was like going on a roller coaster, but we have regained our confidence with the victory at the final race, Bol d’Or.
This year we welcome new rider Dan Linfoot in addition to Gregg Black and Etienne Masson, and I am glad to make the announcement. He fits our team perfectly with his excellent performance at Suzuka 8H and his extensive experiences include 24H endurance races.
In addition, Cocoro Atsumi has been appointed as a reserve rider as well as a development rider, and the team is fully prepared for the season.
The technical team, led by Yoshimura Japan, is working hard to improve our race bike to provide riders with a faster, stronger and more comfortable package. I believe that the riders on the Yoshimura-tuned Suzuki GSX-R1000R will be able to show even better performance than last season.
The Endurance World Championship, especially the 24H race, is a very difficult race to complete. It is achieved with a hard work of the SERT staff, various team crews and the partners who support us, and we put our effort to be rewarded.
We will do our best to fight together with our rivals in the championship and try to make the EWC even more attractive race. Of course, we will do our best to make the season a great success for my team and the fans.

Damian Saulnier, Team Manager

The 2023 season didn’t get off to a great start at Le Mans for the team. We were unlucky at that time, but we bounced back to finish well with this magnificent victory at the last Bol d’Or. I’m proud of the team and all the effort by everyone involved to bring us a great victory.
The title of vice world champion is a fine recognition of the mutual trust to bind us with our valuable partners. Many of them have been supporting us for years and it was not possible without them.
Now let’s look ahead to the new season with high motivation and desire to win.
A few changes have been made in the team, and we have three nationalities to represent our rider line-up. Yohei and I are delighted to announce the arrival of Dan Linfoot, our British rider, who will be a teammate of Gregg Black and Etienne Masson. We were looking for an all-round rider, and I have no doubts about his talent, reliability and ability to fit in with the team. Furthermore he has the advantage of knowing the FIM EWC circuits, and also of experiences of 24H endurance races. Cocoro Atsumi will be a reserve rider and support us also as a development rider.
The first FIM EWC race is held at the legendary Le Mans circuit in April and I’m counting on you to come and support us for the 47th edition of the 24h Motos.

Gregg Black – rider

The 2024 will be another new year together with Yoshimura SERT Motul and I am very proud to be a part of this great team.
After the great victory in the last race of 2023, Bol d’Or, I reconfirmed our performance is high and we are ready to fight for more wins. I hope once again I can bring my experience and speed to get the title of this year.
To make the wish to be true, I have been training hard this winter to be at my best. I am quite fit and I can’t wait to get back on the GSX-R1000R with the team.
This year we are welcoming new teammate Dan Linfoot and I am looking forward to sharing the bike with him.
Whole team and riders have a lot of experiences and I am sure that will be the key to success!
Thanks to Suzuki for the great support as well as to all our partners and fans. We will give 100% of ourselves!

Etienne Masson – rider

I am so happy to start the new season in the best team of the championship. The Yoshimura SERT Motul is a team with high performance and experiences, and I am thrilled to be back to the race with them.
Last year was a little bit frustrated season with many bad lucks. We were always podium pace but there were many unexpected issues or small mistakes, and they put us behind from where we should be.
Finally, we finished the year with a big victory and the result at the Bol d’Or reminded me the joy of victory.
Toward the new season, I have never been motivated like this and I really excited to start the season.
Gregg is my long- time mate, even a good friend and newly joining Dan is not a stranger at EWC. The team spirit will be perfect and I am sure we push for the top step of the podium together.

Dan Linfoot – rider

I am absolutely delighted to be joining Yoshimura SERT Motul for the 2024 Endurance World Championship.
I have been taking part in selected EWC races, including 24hour races over the past seasons. I have even had a chance to race from a Suzuki team at Suzuka 8hours and I have experienced the package of GSX-R1000R and Bridgestone.
I really love the endurance racing with its strategy and I am so excited to announce my new challenge.
To be joining the team is very special, their history and pedigree speaks for itself, and I truly believe that as a team we can aim only for the victory and the EWC title.
I’m very motivated and proud to be representing Yoshimura SERT Motul and Suzuki, and I can’t wait the season starts.
Together with my experienced team mates, I am confident that we can deliver our targets, and I am excited to start working at our first tests.

Cocoro Atsumi – rider

I am really happy to join such a strong team as Yoshimura SERT Motul and excited to make the announcement.
There were many things since I started my challenge to race the Endurance World Championship from different teams and it was not possible to join Yoshimura SERT Motul without the past experiences, and I appreciate for the people who were involved my carrier so far.
My start was as a reserve rider at the Bol d’Or last season, and it gave me an opportunity of wild card entry at the All Japan Road Race Championship or occasions of local tests.
My understanding of the GSX-R1000R and Bridgestone tires has been improving and also teamwork has been deepened.
I hope to learn a lot from the team and my three strong teammates this season, which will help me grow as a racing rider.
I will do my best to achieve our goal to win each race and to get the EWC champion title, and of course I will standby for any cases.
